We can see part of this river from our hotel room window. You can see the bridge in the background. It is called the August first Bridge. August 1st is a huge holiday here. It sounds like it's sort of like our 4th of July. It is extremely humid here. I think like 90 percent and about 90 degrees. It has rained some while we've been here which apparently has cooled it off. Our guide said it has been 105 degrees with 90 percent humidity before we got here. Yikes!

BRANCH OF THE YANGTZE RIVER
